
Midnight Sun Solar Car Team
Throughout two years of my university career, I led the marketing team on a design team at the University of Waterloo called Midnight Sun. This design team would design, build, and race a solar powered car completely run by students. My job with the team was to garner recognition and gain sponsorships through social media and other online efforts.

CrowdFunding Campaign
The largest campaign I did while working with Midnight Sun was our crowdfunding campaign. From the beginning, we set a goal of raising $10,000 for our project and came extremely close by raising $8,975. A huge portion of the success was the attention we garnered through our efforts on social media.

Sponsor Sundays
One of my favourite assignments in my role was Sponsor Sundays. Sponsor Sundays was something I came up with as a biweekly post to show appreciation to our sponsors who were the backbone of our entire project.

Holiday Posts
A consistent task within my role was creating brand specific posts for holidays. These included tradition holidays such as Christmas, Halloween, Easter and New Years Day, but also days such as International Women's day and World Mental Health Day.
